Mr Rick Cirolli is a Specialist General Surgeon with more than 34 years of expertise in General Surgery and endoscopy. His professional affiliations also include the Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS), Australasian College of Phlebology (FACP), New Zealand Association of General Surgeons (NZAGS), Union Internationale de Phlebologie (UIP), International Cell Surgical Society (ICSS), and Melanoma Network (MelNet).

Mr Rick Cirolli is a Specialist General Surgeon with more than 34 years of expertise in General Surgery and endoscopy. His professional affiliations also include the Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS), Australasian College of Phlebology (FACP), New Zealand Association of General Surgeons (NZAGS), Union Internationale de Phlebologie (UIP), International Cell Surgical Society (ICSS), and Melanoma Network (MelNet).

Throughout his career, Mr Cirolli has developed expertise across a broad range of surgical fields, including:
  • General Surgery and Endoscopy
  • Laser Treatments (haemorrhoids, fistula in ano, pilonidal sinus)
  • Laparoscopic Procedures (hernia repair, hepatobiliary surgeries)
  • Breast and Urological Surgery
  • Skin Cancer Treatment (melanoma and non-melanoma)
  • Venous Conditions (treatment of varicose veins and chronic venous ulcers with endovenous laser ablation [EVLA] and ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy [UGS])
A pioneer in regenerative medicine, Mr Cirolli has explored the therapeutic potential of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) for sports injuries and the application of Stroma Vascular Fraction (SVF) rich in peri-adipose and peri-vascular stem cells for a variety of conditions. He founded Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Treatment services in Auckland, Gisborne, and the East Coast, advancing these innovative treatments in New Zealand.

Currently, Mr Cirolli is the Founder and Director of New Zealand General Surgery and Endoscopy Ltd. His leadership roles have included serving as the Head of General Surgery and Trauma Orientated Consultant at Gisborne Hospital and as the branch president of the Association of Salaried Medical Specialists (ASMS).
