When you phone to make your appointment the secretary will give you details. However the bowel MUST be completely clear for the examination to be safe and accurate. Therefore it is important that the instructions you are given are followed carefully.

Bring with you:
- Your referral letter for the procedure
- A list of current medications you are taking
- Medical insurance prior approval number/letter (if applicable)
Because you will have had sedation, it is important that you arrange for someone to drive you home following your procedure. You are not permitted, by law, to drive yourself.
On Arrival:
- Further information regarding the procedure you are having will be made available to you.
- A nurse will obtain health details from you.
- You will be asked to change into one of our gowns.
Once you have made a booking for your procedure we ask you to submit an admission form, including medical details to us.
Complete the Endoscopy Admission form only if you are having a endoscopy (not surgery).
Complete the Surgical Admission form only if you are having surgery.
Alternatively you can visit us to fill in a hard copy or one can be emailed to you for completion.
